This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I appreciate you having time to say thanks! I was just wondering since im interested in band photography did you excell in your field with or without schooling?
Sure, if people take time to comment, I take time to answer. Even if it may take me some time sometimes, hehe.
Nah, I just started about 2 years ago. (better to say, much earlier, but since Nov 2006 with a mirror reflex. That´s when the addiction really started. ). Never read any books or things like that about photography...I´m one of those "learning-by-doing" photographers. So I most probably have a lack of knowledge when it comes to technical stuff...but still...trial and error is the way to learn, in my opinion. Still so much to learn for me, but it´s fun!

Good to hear! I feel the same way your eyes and your own knowledge will guide you into the perfect picture and if not theres alwys next time! This is more of my main question, if you didnt got to school how did you come across great opportunities to have amazing seating and stage access (assuming from some of the photos you were on side stage)
Exactly, the best school/books whatever won´t help, if you don´t have a feeling for the right moment or a good capture. I´d rather prefer a pic full of feeling or special atmosphere, to a technically brilliant pic, that doesn´t mean anything to me...
Hm, at first I just started taking pics in smaller venues where I was allowed to take my cam in without accreditation, after having some references I started working for online-mags et voila...photopass opportunities. (well, there´s still lots of concerts, where I don´t get one...but well, I´m confident so far). As for the stage access (e.g. like One Man Army drummer shot and others you mean?) those worked because I know the band. Else it´s sometimes just smaller venues, where they don´t complain when I "climb" around. It always depends...
